Resene
We are using Resene's Environmental Choice NZ certified paints throughout the house. These are low or zero VOC paints. VOCs or Volatile Organic Compounds can cause short and long term health issues and are released from paints (amongst other things used in houses). Environmental Choice NZ is a third party certification scheme that guarantees a product is produced with a lower environmental impact than standard products on the market.
Resene are manufacturers of paints, stains and coatings for all interior and exterior uses. They are a New Zealand company which started in 1946 and now supplies internationally. Environmental performance is part of their policy.
