MacDirect
We've chosen to use Macrocarpa for our cladding, some of the exposed interior timber, and in some key exterior areas. Macrocarpa is one of the few locally-grown plantation timbers with a durability equivilent to H3.1 without the need for treatment.
MacDirect are New Zealand's largest supplier of Macrocarpa and are based in Pukekoe, South Auckland. They source their timber from plantations, ensuring consistent timber quality. From our experience with them, they are very knowledgable about the timber, and how it can be used within the building code.
MacDirect supply a range of products including:
- Post, Beams and Boards.
- Panelling/Sarking - Tongue and Groove with V. - (TG&V).
- Flooring/Overlay - Tongue and Groove - (T&G).
- Cladding/Fascia - (all profiles available) dressed or bandsawn face.
- Decking.
- Joinery.
